Deferral of June-July 2021 CXC CSEC/CAPE/ Examinations
The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training wishes to inform all private candidates who are registered with the Ministry to write the June-July 2021 CXC examinations that applications for deferral are now being accepted.
Candidates who wish to defer must complete an application for deferral form indicating the examination period to which they intend to defer, either January 2022 (CSEC) or May-June 2022.
Online applications may be completed by visiting the Application Form for Deferral
Please enter the relevant details in the boxes on the first page, then select Next to go to the Second page. Again make the relevant choices on this page. Double-check your selections and the select Submit
Those candidates who do not have online access may complete paper-based applications at the Ministry by visiting the Examinations Section between 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
The deadline for the submission of applications for deferral by private candidates to the Ministry is 27 April 2021.
Schools and centres should note that the deadline for submission to CXC is 1 May 2021.
